Campaign Story

Christos is a 9-year-old boy, who has been struggling ever since he was just a toddler, since he has been diagnosed with severe neurodevelopmental disorders. Up until a few months ago, the little fighter couldn’t speak at all. He was unable to understand speech patterns, while his fine motor skills were extremely limited.

The developmental pediatricians who monitor his condition had referred the family to a clinic abroad, which specializes in cases of neurodevelopmental disorders. The parents reached out to ACT OF KINDNESS, since they were unable to cope with the cost of the specialized treatments their little boy required. Thanks, however, to our fellow citizens’ defining support, we managed to offer this child the chance to be subjected to two consecutive treatment rounds!

A few months ago, our little friend returned to Greece, and the results of the treatments he underwent while being abroad are phenomenal! The child can now utter a few words, maintain eye contact and interact with the people around him! At the same time, his auditory processing, his concentration and his fine motor skills have also shown improvement! 

After this phenomenal progress that Christos is presenting with and since the child’s development is much slower compared to the development of children his age, his pediatrician strongly suggests that he is subjected to a third round of treatments, which will allow him to conquer the desired developmental milestones. 

Little Christos’ family is asking for our support once more. They are asking for our support, so that they can offer their little angel a better quality of life! We stand by their side throughout this ordeal. We join forces for little Christos!
